Playa Venao is a popular beach in the south coast of Panama which attracts each year thousands of surfers due to its perfect surfing conditions. The main purpose of my contract was to solve logistic problems which occurred due to the simultaneous management of hotels, gastronomic premises and a large construction site. I’ve been hired for a 6 month long period which involved:
- Managing people in small project groups.
- Being a part of negotiations during customer meetings.
- Industry, market, customer, and competitor analysis.
- Analyzing e-commerce opportunities with a view to develop or improve the website of the company.
- Developing marketing plans, including strategy plans and plans of action.
- Identifying and analyzing new possibilities
- Developing customer databases, including customer relationship management systems.
- Organization of the workspace, inventory, warehouse
- Preparation of promotion material, including direct mails, brochures, advertisements, videos, photos etc.
- Developing and improving the website of the company.
- Creating organizational system including policies and software
- Recognizing different kind of problems within the company and solving them with a minimal budget.
